Hi
The company i work for had been in trouble for over a year. Last Christmas it went into administration but started again in Jan 09. Things didnt get any better and on Friday Dec 18th it went into administration again.
On Thurs Dec 3rd i went on hol and came back 31st. Because of money problems I did not get paid my holiday money before i went. I am paid weekly and it is normal practice to be paid hol money for the time you are off.
Before I left I seemed to get into negotiations as to how much money i would be paid the last pay day before i left and i asked for 2 weeks pay. On the day i caught the flight i drew out money from my bank account and was dissappionted to have been paid £300. My normal wage is £276. I thought like we had discussed, the rest would get paid at my normal wage each Thursday i was away until the holiday money was paid, but Thursday 3rd Dec was the last wage I was paid. I was due 17 days holiday pay, about £938. I got £24 holiday pay. There were 2 Thursday pay days before it closed but it was like i was forgot about and i think everybody working got paid on these days. I believe normally i am entitled to the holiday pay i have accrued during the year even when made redundant.
To sum up. When i went on hol i was due 17 days holiday pay, about £938 (plus my normal weeks pay), but was paid only £24 hol pay plus my normal weeks pay. I never got paid again even though the company was still trading for a further 2 weeks (2 pay weeks). I have lost out about £914.
Could i have advice on this stituation plaese and my legal rights now it is in administration. Thanks

You should put a claim in with the administrator for unpaid wages. The administrator will be in touch "eventually", but should contact them anyway and explain that you have unpaid wages.Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0 -
