Hi there
Are you saying your due a payout as its been a certain amount of years?
And as you have not made a claim you should be entitled to this.
I would contact/write to the finance department enclose your account number and ask them about this.
Sorry if I have mis read.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Hi there,
I'm new to all this so apologies if I've misused your thread!
I also have a Firstplus PPI due to expire on 23 Feb 2010. Firstplus sent a letter advising refund may be due and they will advise outcome of their investigation within one month of expiry date. Having read through the numerous threads on Firstplus PPI refunds I am more confused than ever (one mentions increased payments following refund??). If FP agree refund due (no claims or missed payments in 5 yrs) and I accept refund, does this mean I can't claim for missold policy?Or should I make claim for missold policy before FP decision on refund?
Any advice?0 -

Hi there
I take it you mean the 5 years of this is coming up and you can reclaim a certain amount of percentage from them?
Is this the one?
I'm not sure on this to be honest, as I have never got that far, as I reclaimed due to being mis sold these costly policies, but maybe you could contact them and ask them what happens as time is coming up to get your money back.;)
Otherwise read this link here below as well.

Hi there and welcome.
Hope someone will be along soon to give you advice on this, they should after 5 years if you've made no claims receive so much percentage back, however with these policies you still have to pay for the ppi for the remainder of the loan, but you will not be protected, that is a big thing with these policies.
It is up to you of course what you feel is best for you, but maybe you should read more into this matter on this link below and take it from there, I'm sure others will also have some opinions on this for you as well.

Hi, if you get the refund after 5 years and then go for the misselling of the policy then this would be taken into account in the redressing.Hi there,
