Hi, I have just downloaded a Pokemon game for my lad called Pokemon Rumble off the Nintendo channel, It gave me the option of downloading onto my computer or onto a SD card I choose the computer not thinking.
If I had choose the Sd card would he have been able to play the game at his friends or his dads on their Wii, or will it still only let you play on the computer you downloaded it from.
It cost 1500 points which is about £10, cheap for a Pokemon game.
Thanks for your help.

I think that if you pop a sd card in your card reader you can send the file to the card right click & send to if you don't have a card reader nip to pound land & get one for a quid! then you have it on the card & also on your computer0

As previous poster has said - copying all d/loaded files to SD card should work the same and allow you to play on another console0

delboy you cant have link in your signature0

Any Sd card will do........What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about !!!0 -
You can move the game to the SD card, but the games are linked to the console they are bought from, so you wouldn't be able to play it on another Wii.0

You can use any SD or now SDHC cards - they don't have to be Nintendo branded. You should aim to pay around £2 or less per GB of capacity.
Once downloaded, you should be able to copy or move them to or from the console to the SD card - but all download games are 'tied' to your Wii console, so you cannot play them on another console.
You can re-download to your console as well, if I am not mistaken, in case you delete off both the console and card.0
