MFI Space Black Kitchen Drawer Fronts Cracked/Delaminated...HELP?

Hi, has anyone out there had the same problem as us? We had an MFI Space Black kitchen fitted about 2 years ago and literally within the last two weeks two of the large pan drawer fronts have cracked! literally exploding the gloss laminate from the mdf! Of course we have no comeback with MFI as unfortunately they've gone into receivership....but it looks absolutely awful and we are going to have to replace all the frontages as we don't know when the next one is going to 'blow' Any advice would be much appreciated...

Did you pay on credit card? Chargeback section 75?

Agree with previous poster though it also applies to any "credit" purchase, e.g. if you arranged credit through them. I think I've heard that some visa debit card transactions are covered too via chargeback but I think that is down to the individual bank.

If you paid cash - then you're chances are wafer slim.

Another thought - try googling the drawer fronts, you may find companies who deal in excess stock and hold on to them to sell in these situations.

Lark & Larks have doors and drawer fronts at cheap prices and probably better than MFI http://www.larkandlarks.co.uk/
