Wembley Stadium - Hotel help please!

Going to see Muse at Wembley Stadium on Sep 11th, can anybody recommend at decent hotel nearby (walking distance preferred) with parking. Whilst it's not far for us to travel to I'd rather make a weekend of it and not have to worry about getting the last train or being stuck in traffic trying to get in or out of the venue.

Thanks in advance!

  • I think there is a travelodge right next to the stadium, or you could park the car up at Stanmore and take the tube. I know you say don't want to worry about the last train but they run past midnight

Thanks for that, parking did not accour to me for some reason. We're in Essex so it would be a case of getting across London and then praying we don't miss the last train form Liverpool Street so that makes sense. I've had to leave concerts early in the past to ensure I got the last train:mad: Last time we drove it took 3 hours to get out! Nuts!

    Hi Emma

We stayed at Wembley Travelodge last year when we went to London for the weekend, it's 2 miles away from the stadium. The parking is £5 per day, you can park in the street outside too, we did this for one of the nights.

The hotel itself was great, and there are a few underground stations nearby too.

  • This Ibis at Wembley is great - only a few minutes walk from the Stadium and arena - we got a room there for about £45 on the night of a concert. :)

The Days Hotel in South Ruislip is absolutely perfect for Wembley - we always stay there.
Next door to a train station that is about 8 minutes to Wembley Stadium rail station. Free parking and there is a lovely bar for when you get back - much nicer than a Travelodge.

Stayed at various locations when going to Wembley stadium. Most recently Kasabian and stayed at the Premium Inn, without a doubt the best, perfect location, it looks over the stadium, literally a few hundred metres. Plus there is parking if reserved beforehand (£5) Highly highly recommended!

I know lots of people who are going and afraid the Ibis and the Premier travel inn and others nearby might be full?

Im kicking myself now as saw Premier inn rooms for £60 something and Ibis for £30 for Muse but didnt think I could go so didnt book and prices doubled and more overnight once gig was confirmed:rolleyes:

Its now looking like I might be able to go but Il wait til last min for a ticket if I decide to go.

Travelodge have a sale Thu but only covers til 5th Sept - might be good to check the next one as it will cover Sept then for the nearby one - but Tripadvisor mention a lot of problems with the parking and thefts.

I gather Marylebone is 10 mins by train to Wembley and that Travelodge often has £9/£19 rooms.

    Hope you find something!

If you're going to get a travelodge room, then don't stay in Wembley, get a room at the Watford hotel and catch a tube train in.
