I know I asked about this a year or so back, but does anyone on here actually use this? Also, have you used it abroad? Just interested how widespread this actually is.

I use it when I'm out and about, latch on to Fon or Openworld Wifi with my mobile

not used it abroad yet but cannot see a problem as Bt own Fon now

We're Fon members, got the Fon wifi access point. Seems to work fine, not actually used the network anywhere else as yet, but seemed a good deal at the time.

I have used it occasionally but find there are far more 'open' wifi connections than FON ones, so have hardly needed it.

The Fon routers are useful if you flash the firmware to use it as an interceptor to pick up wifi traffic in the wild which you can then sniff. Not legal if you do it without consent but good if you're doing penetration tests on company networks, for the company.
