They are, there was a way last week where you transfered your hotmail.xxx
to a live mail, however it got stopped quickly.0 -
ahhhrite, so Windows have not started letting users officially register @live.com addresses then ??0

Give it a few weeks.
There was a loophole on neowin to get one, closed now though.
Original launch date was 20th June, Server hiccups = delay.
Give it 1 - 3 weeks!!
