Lost Car key

You need to find a garage that can recode the car. Ford is probably your best bet. The door locks need to be read by dismantling them (unless you can supply the key code), new keys cut and the car re-coding. You are not going to get much change out of £500 I am afraid. If the car is locked and they have to break in then you may need some new locks as well.
If you have a Ford always have 2 blips and 1 normal key. That way if you lose / break one you can recode another yourself.0 -
or a better bet is find an auto locksmith in your area if you cant't find one Pm me I'll send some details.
Your car will be opened without damage and the lock decoded without stripping it down. and 2 new keys cut as it will be a 2 key system so you have to program 2 keys in. if you want 2 remote keys you will be looking at about £300 all in.0 -
With regard to the cost check any insurance policies you have, as a few tend to cover the costs for key loss.
You should have had two keys with the car. Depending how old it is and how long ago you bought it it may be worth looking into that.0
