Removing clicking sound

Please could someone tell me how to stop my PC making a clicking sound when I change webpage/click on HTML link? It's just started doing it and OH denies all knowledge of any changing of settings...

Start, Contol Panel, Sounds Speech and Audio, Change the Sound Scheme, Scroll down to Start Navigation and do something in there but I forget
