help re DAB radio

I bought a DAB radio and its still under its guarantee. It keeps cutting out for 10-15 seconds at a time. Can anyone say whether this is ever normal or if I should complain to where I bought it?

are you using it near any other electrical source or wireless router etc. Ours cuts out when we turn the extractor hood on as it sits next to teh cooker, cuts out for a few seconds during initial power surge and fans starting0
