GEtting to T5 Travelodge

Travelling from Preston to Heathrow on the train and staying at the T5 Travel lodge overnight.
What im not sure how to do is to get from London Euston to the Travelodge.
Anyone done this please?

You could get the underground from Euston to Heathrow T5, and then the Hoppa bus from the terminal to the Travelodge.

It'll cost you £4.50 each on the underground and £4 each on the bus (and another £4 each in the morning to get back to the terminal)

If you do Euston to T5 entirely by tube, it'll take about an hour. See this website for London journey planning options: http://journeyplanner.tfl.gov.uk/

Is your rail ticket valid right through to Heathrow? If so, it might be valid on the Heathrow Express, which will get you to T5 in under 30 mins from Paddington. (Take the tube from Euston Square, not Euston, to Paddington.)

If not, you can use the tube: functional but monotonous; alternatively there is the Heathrow Connect service, a slower version of the Heathrow Express.

The no 60 bus passes by the Travelodge: it departs from the T5 bus station. Maybe slightly cheaper than the rip-off Hoppa buses.
