heres the details of the 'secret carpark'
Unbeatable Parking (Terminals 1, 3)
Looking for a great deal on Heathrow airport parking? You've come to the right place. We've got an on-airport car park, minutes from terminals 1 and 3, available at a lower-than-normal price. It's a fully secured car park and has been awarded the Park Mark for security. There's just one drawback - we can't tell you its name until you've completed your booking.
Transfers
Regular transfers to and from terminals 1 and 3 are provided 24 hours a day. They take between seven and 15 minutes.
Security Measures
The Unbeatable car park at Heathrow is manned 24 hours a day and frequently patrolled by security vehicles. It is further protected by CCTV and a fence. The car park holds two security awards: the Secured Car Parks award and the Park Mark, both of which are accredited by the Association of Chief Police Officers. Before being awarded the Park Mark, car parks have to be inspected by the police. They have to have modern security measures and be clean and well-lit.
Disabled Facilities
The buses have low floors and space to accommodate wheelchairs. The Help Bus, a special bus designed for passengers with mobility problems or a lot of luggage, is also available but you need to request it in advance.
Insurance
Parking is at the owner's own risk and is subject to the terms and conditions of the Unbeatable Parking package.
Other Services Provided
Jump starts and help with wheel changes can be provided if needed.
Other Useful Information
You cannot change your booking less than 24 hours before your arrival time.
Parking charges are calculated in periods of 24 hours from the time you arrive at the car park until the time you leave. If you stay for more days than you booked, you will be charged for the extra days at the car park's standard daily rate. If you stay for fewer days than you booked, you will not be able to get a refund.
You will be given all the necessary information about the Unbeatable car park on your booking confirmation, once the booking has been completed.
heres the one i was going to book, sound similar??
Long Stay SuperSaver (Terminals 1, 3)
Please note: Bookings made at this special advance purchase price cannot be amended or cancelled.
Parking Express is located on the Heathrow Perimeter Road and provides fast and efficient transfers to and from the Terminals. https://secure.holidayextras.co.uk/images/groups/parking/park_mark.gif This car park has been awarded the Park Mark for safer parking. The Park Mark means that you are parking in an area that has been vetted by the police to make sure that the site has had measures put in place to create a safe environment. Park Mark awarded parking areas are run by responsible operators who are concerned with your safety and the safety of your vehicle.

Transfers
Transfers to and from terminals 1 and 3 are provided 24 hours a day and take between seven and 15 minutes. They run every 10 to 12 minutes between 4.45am and 11.45pm, and on demand outside these times.
Arrival Procedures
The car park has an automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system, so make sure you enter your vehicle registration number correctly when you make your booking.
When you arrive at the car park, take a ticket and follow signs to the zone indicated. Make a note of the zone and the nearest bus stop. Your booking reference will be printed on the ticket. If instead it says 'cashier', you should report to customer services on your return.
Departure Procedures
To transfer back to the car park from terminal 1, go to the Long Stay courtesy coach pick-up point and catch the Long Stay bus. Passengers flying into terminal 3 should go to bus stop 17.
To get out of the car park, insert your entry ticket into the machine at the barrier. Your number plate will be read and the barrier will lift automatically. If your ticket has 'cashier' printed on it, report to the customer service office by the exit.
Security Measures
The site is manned 24 hours a day and is protected by CCTV, a fence and frequent patrols by high profile security vehicles. The car park holds the Secured Car Parks Award and the Park Mark, a national security award accredited by the Association of Chief Police Officers. Before being awarded the Park Mark, car parks have to be inspected by the police. They have to have modern security measures and be clean and well-lit. Car parks which have been awarded the Park Mark are regularly reinspected by the police.
Disabled Facilities
The buses have low floors and space to accommodate wheelchairs. The BAA Help Bus, a special bus designed for passengers with mobility problems or a lot of luggage, is also available but you need to request it in advance.
thanks guys

It can be easy - as you have done, look for particular phrases and google. It worked for me.
I've booked the secret saver 'Park Inn' at Heathrow a couple of times where the night stay before and the parking was around the same price or less than the parking alone elsewhere. 2 weeks peak summertime for £84 inc cancellation insurance (essentialtravel.co.uk).
You can also use Quidco in places and when I booked via holidayextras.co.uk I was able to book discounted breakfast - all you can eat full breakie for the same price as you would pay for a snack in the terminal.
Look through the threads for pros/cons with staying at the various places - for example instead of paying for the HoppaBus at the Park Inn you can get a free public bus nearby to take you to the terminals.0 -

You've already worked it out for yourself in your first post, but to elaborate:
Long Stay Terminals 1-3
(formerly Parking Express)
Eastern Perimeter Road
Heathrow Airport
Hounslow
TW6 2SB
If you want to be really certain, just go through other car park descriptions looking for the same text - you won't find it.0 -
thanks for the help, think i just wanted someone else to say they thought the same

just waiting to hear if one of our party is going to have to drop out now as she has broken her foot and we fly in 6 weeks :S0 -
Hi, where do you find the deals for these 'secret' car parks?
Cheers.0 -
Holiday extras website x0

just booked, i was right :T what a bargain. only £20 each for hotel and then on airport parking now yay!0

Almost any car park that claims to be 'on' the airport will be a BAA park on the perimeter road. There is a place called Q Park very close to the BAA T1&3 Long Stay at the north-east corner of the airport. That's the only non-BAA one i'd class as being on the airport.0

Just booked the Holiday Extras "Unbeatable Parking T1, T3" for Heathrow following the comments above. I too was given the official Long Stay T1, T3 car park, saving myself £23 over 10 days' parking. Excellent!0
