The Open University degree - same as 'normal' degree?

Ive just signed up to do a BA (Honours) Business Studies with the Open University starting in April. I work full time as an area manager for a marketing and promotion but wanted to have a degree behind me after leaving school at 16. Excited, but hope i can find the time.0

OU degrees are very well respected - however what do you plan to teach as you ideally need it to be related... So a named degree rather then the open degree MAY stand you in better stead...
My old boss used to be really impressed with OU degrees and admitted after giving me my job that between me and one other he chose me as I was studying of a degree with the OU...
