hcps loader problem

hi, i have a car workshop manual on a cd ,used to work ok on my old pc which ran windows ,that packed up purchased new pc now running windows vista. when i insert cd i get a message stating that hcps loader has stopped working, could someone please tell me how to rectify prob as im not to smart on pc probs cheers.

    I'd recommend reading the whole thing as there's input from the company that makes the copy protection software that seems to be blocking the content.

    Depending on which boat you're in it may be possible to either run the software as an administrator or install a fix that will let you use the CD on Vista (remember that installing software from the Internet is a risk and can cause other problems - I hadn't heard of this company until I found that link). But it's also possible that the CD is unusable on Vista depending on what is protected and how.

    It's a new one on me but if that's the word from the company that makes the protection I don't imagine there'll be an easy way around it.

    if the cd has flash or pdf, you may need to install the latest versions.
