Hi,
I wonder if anyone has similar experience with the Asda credit card i applied end Nov and heard nothing after was informed online (being processed) never received mail by post or online to say either accepted or not then i noticed start of Dec a direct debit had been set up in bank for Santander and a 16 digit number, so assuming this is my credit card and to which i have been accepted but still no mail, card, pin or even a letter of acceptance? i've written to asda twice still to no avail so i may return saying no thanks after this bad management anyway just wondered if anyone had this or similar?

Abbey's customer service from my experience has been appaling, that said I've never had any trouble with my Asda card or with Alliance and Leicester (before or after they became part of Santander) so this does sound very strange, I'd ring them and speak to them. If you wanted the card I wouldn't send it back since you obviously had some reason for wanting it and even if you reject it now it will still be on your credit record. If you don't like what I say slap me around with a large trout and PM me to tell me why.
If you do like it please hit the thanks button.0 -
