    Hi All
After a pathetically poor MSE month, as of today I am clambering back onto the wagon.
I have made a pad of £150 to my friend which means that I have cleared what I owe him... one (small) debt down, now for the rest!
    Glad to be back!

    Hello there,

First time I've found this thread! I've been inadvertently padding for a while. I saved all of my pin money in a jar and paid £215 off the cc this month. Mostly in coins :o at the cooperative's cashier's desk :o:o with him making smarmy comments about there being easier ways to pay bills :o:o:o! But I shrugged it off and figured, it sure would be easier for him, but that's the first time I've EVER paid that much off a debt in one go, so it must be easier for me! SO THERE MR CASHIER :rotfl:

It probably seems silly, but saving just a little each day has changed the way I look at our money. Instead of seeing a mars bar, I see 54p that could go in our pot. That's £197.10 per year . Why would we do this to ourselves?

So, this is the goal; on top of our payments for the next two months, I will pay anything left from the shopping money (I shop daily to stop us wasting anything) into the big money jar. At the end of the month, the money jar and I will have a trip to the bank. I'm hoping that we can clear the balance of the cc in the next two months and then we're saving for a holiday!!! :j

Well done both! What a great start to your PaDding for 2010 :T

    Morning all,

A PAD of £135.00 for me today, will be taking a drop in money each week now of about £80 and its going to hit me hard but will keep padding away, just wont be as much...am a bit gutted!

Sorry to hear that Kashton. My OH is on half of what he previously earnt which is a real nightmare, particularly as i'm now on maternity leave. I've just had to get stricter with my budgeting so i know exactly what i have and more importantly, what i haven't got :rotfl:

Minnime- i hope everything goes ok for you. Hurry back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Take care hugs.gif

    Hi All

Another horrendously busy day today. Tomorrow is OH's 40th birthday and I still need to buy a few things. I need to do my Avon order tonight and tidy the house. Then tomorrow morning I finally have my hand clinic appointment about my finger!

Anyway, today's pads are £3 and £6.89 to Evil Egg and £1.03 to Abominable Amex, making a total today of £10.92

  • Afternoon Padders!

Well I went to fat club today and I'm a wee bit annoyed...I thought I's lost over a stone but it turns out that my last leader must not have been very good at counting as I was looking at my wee card and noticed a couple of wee mistakes and with my weight loss today I'v just reached a stone! I'm a wee bit gutted as I've got more to lose than I thought I had so will have to live on carrosts and broccoli for the next few :(:p

The total for yesterday was very nice...well done padders!

Anyway, my pad today is another £11.00 please Keza!

Hope you all have a fab day! x

Hi All, Pad today of £5.00 to the cc
  • Hiya peeps!

This has to be quite a quick one, so my PADs for the past five days are:

    Sat: £2.12 into pot
    Sun: £1 into pot
    Mon: £1.48 STC into savings
Tues: £3.68 into savings and £218.90 to pay off c/c balance
    Today: £9.73 into savings

    Grand total = £236.91

And I have some good news, which might affect my PADs (or, at least, what they're used for)...I got engaged on Monday! :D

    Hope you are all well!
