    Hello there,

First time I've found this thread! I've been inadvertently padding for a while. I saved all of my pin money in a jar and paid £215 off the cc this month. Mostly in coins :o at the cooperative's cashier's desk :o:o with him making smarmy comments about there being easier ways to pay bills :o:o:o! But I shrugged it off and figured, it sure would be easier for him, but that's the first time I've EVER paid that much off a debt in one go, so it must be easier for me! SO THERE MR CASHIER :rotfl:

It probably seems silly, but saving just a little each day has changed the way I look at our money. Instead of seeing a mars bar, I see 54p that could go in our pot. That's £197.10 per year . Why would we do this to ourselves?

So, this is the goal; on top of our payments for the next two months, I will pay anything left from the shopping money (I shop daily to stop us wasting anything) into the big money jar. At the end of the month, the money jar and I will have a trip to the bank. I'm hoping that we can clear the balance of the cc in the next two months and then we're saving for a holiday!!! :j

    Hello everyone :)

£3 for me today please Keza.

Apparently I'm due a refund from Tiscali of £5.32, but being as I'm not longer with them I will have to ring them up to reclaim in from my BT line... Is it worth it I wonder or will the call cost me even more than my refund haha...

Was supposed to be going to the gym today but I have a splitting headache which is really annoying me. So I'm not going now.

    laters xx
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o
