Hi all, pad of £1 today to the ccs.

Pad today £1 to baby savings please.
Just going back to the HiP money again, how long does it normally take to process and show in bank? Posted my form a few weeks a go now and not heard anything yet. Thanks
Mine only took a couple of weeks. It may be worth ringing just to make sure they've received your form.
I wonder if anyone has any experience or advice on a bit of a problem, on behalf of my bloke? You may remember that he's had his LBM and I am now acting as his 'debt management advisor' (with a little help from MSE!).
Well anyway he's got a 3 mobile phone, and when we went through all his debts it turned out that he owes them 230quid as he hasn't been paying anything  (randomly they haven't cut it off *confused*). So I've said thathe should ring them up and offer to pay £40 for the next 6 months on top of his normal payment by direct debit so they know they are going to get it. This will have him back to neutral in 6 months, do you reckon they will accept this? Anyone had to do something similar? Honestly this is like dealing with a teenager :rotfl:
Hope you are all well anyway - I'm of to the mobiles board!
xx
I wonder if they will cut him off if you highlight the problem to them? I'd be inclined to just start making payments anyway via online banking and see what happens. I did have to pay off hubby's bill but he was disconnected. I put a repayment offer in writing and made the payments whilst i waited for a response, which they did accept.
Green thank you for the total uppering. What a fab total it is! I've added it to the 1st page.
Keza good luck with your month. I hope it's a corkerOne step at a time0 -

I do not understand Halifax CC!
I got a letter advising me of an interest rate increase. Call this number to close account if you don't want it etc etc. The usual.
So I call, and advise I will close the account and simply pay off the balance and the woman tells me that as I haven't defaulted and I always pay the minimum (usually a little over), then they don't need to close my account and can keep the interest rate the same anyway.
Well, they had this info before, so what are they playing at? It's just one big ploy to catch out those who don't call up isn't it? Otherwise, if I had been a 'bad' customer, they would've just increased it anyway. Cheeky so and so's.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
