:rotfl:I know - he's not that good an actor:p Really glad Alex won. Funny i would have been one of the people booing him as he went in as i thought he was just so false - just shows how wrong you can be.Payment A Day £15 (started 17/5/14) :j0 -
Hi All!
Sorry if I'm a bit behind, only been gone a day and there are 6 pages to catch up on! You lot did have a busy Fridayangelicmary85 wrote: »I thought the whole point of those witness statements were to tell the court/jury about the person/feelings/what happended next sort of thing so they would take emotion ino account?
As far as I know, the jury only get to do the guilty/not guilty bit and then the judge passes sentence. I know that before the judge can do that the probation service have to prepare a report on the offender and the impact of the offence on the community so the judge can take that into account, although on the other side of this, the probation service also look at the offenders previous record/family circumstances/any other "mitigating" factors, basically so the judge gets a full picture of the offender IYSWIM? And then after that the judge is restricted to a maximum sentence set by some higher being anyway, so maybe the 5 years is the max this guy can get for this offence? It's all to c**k in my opinion. Causing the death of an innocent is murder/manslaughter (punishable by life imprisonment) - all death by dangerous driving seems to be is another excuse to make enough space in the prison for the next idiot who decides to get drunk and drive!
Wow, sorry, first rant- just my opinion too, don't mean to offend and apologies if I do!
Aaaaanyway...just a little pad today of 10p and now I must get off my high horse and finish off the tiling!

It was something that my bro was reading about. Some of the women athletes were breaking their own records after having had babies so apparently as the body grows more capilleries (sp?) it allows more oxygen to get to muscles which allows them to work harder!Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10

Ok, have to confess to not having done the DVD yet... but I am going to play squash tomorrow with a friend, so that should be good
Forgot to post PAD yesterday, of £25, plus today's of 30p so £25.30.

I feel like a right idiot jumping about the living room pretending to be in a boxing ring...glad I've been closing OH in the kitchen and asking him to stay there until I'm done! :rotfl:He's fine about it though...gives him 40mins of 'me time'!
You should give it a go, it's not as bad as I thought it was going to be, suppose the real test will be when I go to fat club so I can see if it's made any difference!
I've never played squash, it looks quite fast paced though, is it a good form of exercise?Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10

You don't look very whale-like in your FB profile pic, in fact, you don't even look like you need to exercise! You might feel really good after playing, sense of achievement and all that jazz!Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10

Thanks!
Unfortunately most of my weight is round my middle, so you can't see it in the pic! I do need to exercise though, I know that once I start I will love it, its the getting started that the hard bit!
