Now I've had a wee rant at Rictus I better make a pad :rotfl:
I've put £20.00 back into the kids savings and £10.00 shared between my 2 cc's.
I've got quite a bit of 'spare' money that I wanted to pad today but have decided to get DD a new car seat so that DS can have her old oneI know I shouldn't do that but it's a toddler car seat so I don't see the harm in using it for a while longer. DS isn't really fitting into his baby one anymore and DD's seat reclines so it's perfect for DS as he's still a bit unsteady so reclining position will be perfect for him. I would love to be able to get DS a reclining one of his own but they cost a fortune and the normal, upright ones are alot cheaper. I've never wanted to skimp on anything they needed but I'm drawing the line at nearly £100 for a car seat!

Angelic, why shouldn't you do that? I don't know what you mean...
I sold my car seats on Ebay. They were stage 2 Maxi Cosi in very good nick for between £20 and £50. They weren't in accidents, so were fine to reuse.
It might be worth taking a look on there.
I once worked with car seats and personally would only buy Maxi Cosi or Britax. Make sure they have good side impact protection and buy the best you can afford, I've seen the consquences from using inadequate ones0 -
