How Setup a 'shares trust' for niece

Hi,
I'm looking to transfer 2500 shares of Lloyds group, to my neice's name, i keep getting told that sometime in ten years lloyd shares could be as high as £12-14 a share, im not a long term holder, (im a investor that would say, ok i'll sell at 90p n count my profit, but'll end up selling at 80) i stick to my word, you know, im sure thers many people like me out there, as it was, i want put 2500 shares to my neice's name till she's 18, at the moment she 7, an old friend said set-up a 'bare trust',
what/how do i do that

    One word springs to mind: optimistic. It's currently about 50p a share, which gives it a market capitalisation of about £33bn. For it to go up to £12-14, it'd have a market cap of about £800bn. That would make it just about the most valuable company in the history of the world (at the height of the 2007/8 markets before the crash, Exxon Mobil had the largest market cap in the world at $450bn).

    Lloyds have been throwing shares around like confetti.

    Personally I think they will recover and escape nationalisation, but its far from a certainty.
