I brought one of these yesterday and set up a ad hoc network connection (computer to computer) which worked fine yesterday.

Switched on the pc that the F5D7050 is connected to and there's no signal..

I've re-booted, re-installed and re-set up the network but still nothing.

I've tried the usb device on my laptop and installed it, excellent signal strenght. Anyone got any ideas on why the pc has no strenght all of a sudden.

All help greatfully appreciated.

How many other USB devices have you got plugged into your desktop?

Have you got the Belkin device daisychained into a USB hub that's not mains powered?

Some of the devices I've got won't work when there are other USB devices plugged in - all to do with the available power on the USB sockets.

its plugged straight onto the base unit, no hubs attached, only other usb devices are printer and digital camera printer (which isn't on and has own power source)..

are you looking at the windows mangment software or the belkin green box software? one overrides the other, so will tell you its not working :-)

when i installed the belkin card on my old laptop i just put the disk in and closed the auto launch and let windows just pick the drivers up without all the belkin software clogging it up

Belkin has been amazingly good with my queries on routers and they offer a 24 hour service. The icing on the cake is that my router which was bought 3.5 years ago is being replaced free of charge because of their lifetime warranty.
Best give them a call 08456077787
