ive run a program to see if 7 is ok for me for a upgrade rather than full installation.
i get these messages, what does it mean to me in terms of talking to a 10 year old!
USB ADSL WAN adapter, not compatable, the driver installed is not compatable with windows 7. (it does not give me any info on how to rectify this)
SiS 900-Based PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter. action recommended, beofre installing windows 7 go to the manufactors website and download the latest driver. (what driver im i downloading?)
Outlook Express, the prgram is no longer available in windows 7. (so what do i use instead ?)

All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.

Depending on which version of Office you have installed, you can still use MS Outlook with Windows 7.
And Thunderbird is a lovely email client.

Go to Windows Update page, look in hardware upgrades, there may well be updates listed there.
As suggested use Windows Live Mail instead of Outlook Express, it is far better.0 -

Do you still connect to the internet via a USB ADSL Modem, or are you using a router with a wired or wireless connection? If you do still use a USB modem, I'd recommend getting a router, to make your connection wired/wireless. However, you need to make sure that your Ethernet port is going to work, which is this bit below..

I googled, clicked the first link - http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/w7itprohardware/thread/b0a73c15-0470-4996-8800-fd3ed15299b2 - and that seems to solve your problem for your ethernet adaptor!
I know google is new technology, but it's a great tool to use..

It is telling you you need to go to the USB Wifi adapter manufacturers page to ge t a Win7 driver, likewise the network adapter. Also you'll need to download Windows Live Mail for an email program.0
