A Good Hosting Provider

My company using a hosting provider which is constantly carrying out some form of upgrade, also to make matters worse their shared server where out site is hosted has been cracked by spammers on several occasions. We are currently paying around £40 per year plus about the same again for SSL. The only plus point is their support team respond within an hour normally to most requests.

Can anyone recommend a good company which has a reliable service and is also cheap?

Kind regards,

rod

I've had exceptional service with apisnetworks.com but they are based in america which will put some people off.

    I use http://www.register1.net

No complaints whatsoever. They also seem to have their technical staff working 24/7 because even when I put a ticket in at some odd hour in the morning, I always get a reponse within about 10 minutes! Reliable, cheap and knowledgeable :)

    Hi there,

I have been through many webhosting companys and i have had some real bad ones before, one company closed down and decided to still charge me  that was soon sorted after a phone call to the credit card company. But since then i have used https://www.hostgator.com they are an american company. There is live support (24/7 i think) - never had any problems with them and i run many sites on the server which need to be online all the time.

They have plenty of customers and many diffrent awards so i cant see this company getting up and walking off.

Let me know how u get on.

    Regards

    Chris

I heard about one, its UK based, which is what i was looking for (probs with search engines with prev. hosting package), its also got full support by phone or email,
found it to be very good and reliable - and does exactly what it says on the tin!
