I always use tesco vouchers to get my RAC cover. If using website, topcashback do a reasonable cashback with AA & RAC.Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

If you quote me, don't forget the capital 'M'

I have used Autoaid for several years. Cost £37 per year. Different to RAC/AA etc in that it is a policy. You breakdown you contact the garage recovery service of your choice and reclaim the cost. Downside - you pay the garage/recovery service upfront and reclaim. Has lots of benefits (rail travel, overnight hotel etc)Money_maker wrote: »I always use tesco vouchers to get my RAC cover. PM me if you want link to site0 -
ring them all, ask if there are any special offers. my RAC cover last year was £39 and i got a £20 M & S voucher.
Read the small print though, most of these go onto automatic renewal next yearmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Green Flag using Quidco cost me £2 a year in total for basic breakdown cover.;)
Cost £22, refunded by Quidco £20.0 -
+1 for AutoAid.
I've been using them for three years now and never had any problems claiming back my money. (4 callouts now)
I have always called them up (AutoAid) and got them to arrange a local garage recovery service. I've then always received a text followed by a call from the recovery vehicle driver. Great service, which includes relay, onward travel etc.

Autoaid are very good and I've used them myself. The only drawback is that it's an insurance basd scheme so you pay for the recovery/call out and then claim back. I have used them once and had a cheque for the charges before my credit card bill arrived so very pleased with them. If you don't want the hassle of claiming back then IC breakdown charge £49 which includes roadside and at home. My mother uses them and has called them out twice and received an excellent service on both occasions.
Unless you hae the ability to use Tesco vouchers I think these are the best options. BTW Autoaid cover the policy holder and spouse in any car - IC cover the car driven by any driver.0 -

I like www.rescuemycar.com. They are not only cheap, but when I had to call them out they attended my breakdown quickly and my renewal premium did not increase the following year.0
