Afternoon Spud.
How are you? Did you make a decision on the diet/excess food thing. I have the same problem, we were going to start our new diet on Monday, but still have so much stuff left, not sure we will get it all eaten tonight and tomorrow - will have a good try though!
Yes, decision made. Day one today. We have all been weighed, and are recovering from the shock and depression of being heavier than we've ever been before, but feel positive to me making a change and doing something about it.
Some of the food we have (boxes of mince pies and a big slab of Christmas cake) wil be donated to the Teachers first day back stress relief fund (more commonly known as the staff room table) on Monday. Other things crisps will be fine for quite a while and have been put away for now.
I was tempted to put it off till all the stuff had been eated, but I really need to get on and do summink NOW, before things get any worse. Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Brave decision Spud. I know I can't start a diet with loads of stuff left, so will get eating. I haven't dared stand on the scales yet, but I do know that this November I was the same as I was last November, despite going to SW all year and losing weight for my daughter's graduation!OD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j

I am being so lazy today. I've managed to strip and change the bedding, wash up, bang the ice a lot and do a bit of de-christmassing. And that's it

Brave, maybe. I think it helps that it's not just me. All 4 of us have decided we must do something and soon. If I suggested putting it off until we'd eaten everything, I'd be letting my DH and kids down wouldnt I. Tempting as it is to eat my crisps and Christmas cakeIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

I am going to point as much as I can, just to see what I would normally eat, I definitely need to keep a food diary like I said. Besides our healthy eating thing at school means no - one eats the food people give to the table in my staff room.
yet another reason why I can't stand it there!!Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
