lmao lilmiss, I'd find that funny. If you get to go, can you get me a piccy of the TARDIS if they have it there. Pretty please?

Also, would new trainers for going to the gym go into my clothes challenge, as they aren't really casual and I do need a pair for it?

I have to be back at church at half past and it's like an ice rink out there again.
Why is it that houses not on a gritting route pay the same council tax as those who are?

The council has been shocking this time around. I went to my parents on New Year's Eve and the roads were like glass.

One particular junction, right in the middle of a village, on a bus route was just a skating rink. I applied the brakes gently: nothing happened. I turned the wheel: nothing happened. "Oh well...I didn't really want to go down that road away"...as I went sailing on by...

    Estate roads never get swept.

Bb ~ ony tips for driving in snow?

    stay inside?

I'm such a wuss that black ice is scaring the bejesus out of me :o I live on a side road and it's very sparkly inthe mornings at the moment - I detest it. My driveway still has a sheet of ice down one side although it has reduced a bit through me wacking the ice and sweeping into a pile in the sun  I have to have some blood tests at 9.25 tomorrow morning and I'm already worried about driving - it's only a mile and a half along a couple of side roads and then the main road but there seems to be black ice everywhere and I'm still jumpy after the accident :o I'm hoping to get a parking space as close to the path as possible!

Go slow. Keep plenty distance. Accelerate and brake as smooth as silk undies. Any journey you walk away from is a good one.

it's thew highways dept of the council which does the gritting, and if you know a very bad spo, if enough people complain they will have to grit it.

I agree. I did a bit of reading last year because of the snow and it all seem to conflict. Some said drop to Drive 3, some said not to drop to Drive 3
