Whilst filling up with diesel at Asda I noticed their pump was very slow. Then without warning the fuel spilled over the top (auto shut off not working) leaving fuel everywhere. I told the cashier what had happened and she said "was it pumping slow?" "yes" I said. She said "its been like that all day, it must be the cold weather, its happened to a few people today!" followed by a quick "sorry" . I said "why not put a sign up to warn people" she said "oh that's an idea". But looking on my way back out from doing a shop there was still no sign up.
So when I got home I called there CS and told them. Three days later a letter arrived. It said "sorry" but not even a hint of compensation, even though they new there was a problem and they did nothing to stop it happening again
