Yes again. The common term for that round here is "stoozing".0

Yes - but I think it needs to be done during the anniversary month0

Good point. Do you think that you can improve your chances of getting a credit limit increase by making a few purchases on the card for a few months, and paying off in full? I figure that if you don't use the card at all, they might think it's too risky to up the credit for what could be very little revenue.Remember to try and up your credit limit online prior to doing the SBT.

Hard to make egg out at all to be honest.
Plenty of people on earlier threads have gone from a smallish limit of £4K or so upto £15K in £2K jumps over a fortnight. I suspect that they would have got the lot in one go if they'd tried.
I went from £8K upto £15K in one go although I've had an egg card for over 4 years & used to put all my spend on it when it had 1% cashback.Ethical moneysaver0 -
I think if the cards relatively new i.e. less than 6 months then it would probably wise to up it in small increments.
If youve had it for over 6 months, then it should go straight to 15k fairly easily0 -
I think a relatively low income also inhibits egg rises. I've only been able to do small increases at a time over the past year despite being on a typical graduate salary and having had egg green for 3.5years.Cider Country Solar PV generator: 3.7kWp Enfinity system on unshaded SE (-36deg azimuth) & 45deg roof0

I've just finished by 0% period with Egg. Have an income of £14K, was given £4k to start with, added £2k and finished with another £4k - totalling £10K in 8 months. Just before my anniversary period, I will go for £15K but will have to wait until end of April before trying. Never been with Egg before. So that's what happened to a new comer with a low income.0
