Hi
I have recently received a letter from barclaycard that they want to terminate 10 year old credit card account. I have never missed a payment and have always managed my account properly. I called them and I was told that it is due to internal changes in policy of lending. I am surprised that I was not given any notice etc. Barclaycard has full right to terminate the agreement whenever they my wish, but I am concerned what wrong I have done. Has anyone else also got such letters???
Thanks in advance

It may be similar to what egg were doing a while back. Closing the lending on a card but letting people pay it off under the regular terms.
I would suspect this is due to the number of people challenging whether their CC agreements are enforcable. Easy way for the banks is to close accounts and maybe let people apply for new cards.
It may also be due to you not being profitable for them.New PV club member. 3.99kW system. Solar Edge with 14 x 285W JA Solar panels. 55° West from south and 35° pitch.0 -
