50 Grand To Invest and not a clue.

A mate of mine has sold his house and wants to invest 50grand, he wants the best rate and also just wants to invest for about 3mths (short term) as he needs to retrieve the funds for future use, so is there any good deals out there?

3 months is toooo short term for investment. AFAIK best savings rates now are 5.15% (ICICI) and 5.1% (Coventry Building Society’s First account, £1000 monthly credit required). See links Instant Access , Moneysupermarket* and Moneyfacts in the blue box above ...0

Spread the money over 2 or 3 high interest bank accounts.
I think ICICI have transfer limits, so check that out first if you want to use them.0
