Student on the verge of smashing up his comp, MSN Messenger problem!!

hi, i have been having a problem with msn messenger, i cant seem to write anything. when i type into the message box it shows english however when the message gets sent i get this, i cant even type hello, instead this crap appears

i have no clue what this is, please could someone help me to remove this as i am desperate to talk to my family, being a student u have to find cheap alterntives to talking to your family over long distances!! im going mAD, itz been like this for over a week now!! any help greatli appreciated, thankyou

Hi mate

Firts thing I would do is completely remove Messenger and install the New messenger http://imagine-msn.com/messenger/launch80/?locale=en-gb and then some other ideas maybe available aswell, also have you intsalled mess with messenger software or messenger Plus at all.

Unistall the implus.exe from add remove programs.

If you cannot find it, then run a spyware application like spybot search & destroy.

I suggest you don't install third party applications for messenger from vendors like messenger plus.

Ooops I also forgot from Internet Explorer, Tools, Internet Options, Languages and change or select to English this may have an effect.

Has someone else been using Messenger from your PC? Try Quincy's suggestion of changing the language
