Asda Credit Card

Has anyone had any experience of applying for the Asda Credit Card. I have applied with a view to hopefully balance transfer? Any ideas on what kind of credit limit they give and how long it takes to come through, it took about 10 days to get something in the post from applying online and wondering how long to hear the next step

I applied online and after 3 weeks never heard anything. Rang them and advised the online form was lost. Told to reapply but my reapply was get lost. According to the agent it seems to be quite common with them losing the online applications.

Absolutely poor..I applied online..did not hear anything for 3 weeks..I phoned up (by the way I spent ages online just to find a telephone number for customer services)..finally spoke to customer services & I was told application has been declined without any reason..They asked to contact experian to find out (absolute stupidity!)..new players in the credit card market are mostly quite poor..I think post office is having the same problem..

just a little note about asda creditcard, i read your thread i wanted to let you know that they are useless the bill takes about 10 days to arrive and the service is crap one of the most useless creditcard companys i`ve used :mad:
