Budget Honeymoon any ideas??

Hi, I am looking for a nice honeymoon - but working to a tight budget - looking to travel towards the end of June - anywhere hot, by the sea. We are not realy fussed where we go as long as it is relaxing, hot, and with the sea/pool. We would like it to be as good as poss, but are also hoping not to spend more than £700-£800 in total, as we are going for 2 weeks elsewhere too...

Any ideas anyone?

Many thanks

You can get a 5* all inclusive week in Turkey for £299 here http://www.holidayclick.co.uk/tzoo.phtml. Weather should be good in June.

edit: check out tripadvisor first though - reviews are a bit miixed
  • I stayed in the Viva Tropis Hotel in Alcudia the 2 last summers with my partner. It is a fabulous hotel and has a seperate pool for adults only with double wicker sun loungers, jacuzzis, jet sprays etc. Although the hotel is for families, this section was fantastic, never ever a problem getting a sun bed in the adult pool and the pool was never too full or rowdy and the section was very peaceful to relax in.

The hotel itself was based in the harbour area of Alcudia, which is very pretty and has some lovely restaurants about (especially if you walk right into the harbour or continue walking by it) If you want something more lively and 'British' you can walk 10-15 mins along the beach front and your in the main Alcudia which has lots of bars, kareoke etc, but is still very family oriented.

The beach is wonderful and the place is clean but i can't recommend the Viva Tropic enough for a great hotel for couples. It has fab reviews on trip advisor too (make sure you look for Viva tropic as there are a few Viva hotels in Majorca)

Hi, personally I would look at going somewhere for a short break rather than a week, you can get more luxury for your money then.
What about this LINK Its a lovely hotel, and gets great reviews on Trip advisor, if you go slightly earlier in June its abit cheaper.
    I quite fancy it myself.

Edited to add it obviously doesn't have the sea nearby, but it does have a big pool.
    £100 - £10,000
