Cannot get motivated about exercise in the slightest yet feel utterly awful when I look in the mirror...if I can't get motivated when faced with the sight of dreadful thighs and a bottom the size of Brazil, when will I? I can see myself ballooning out of shape rapidly as the years go by like my Mum & Sister have done. I know I have total control of this yet I just feel like a bystander watching a car crash. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME!?
Have a great Sunday everyone...sorry if I have brought you down with my post.
You think you've got problems!!!!! At least you've only got a bottom the size of Brazil - mine is like the Artic (white, and with lumps dropping off it.- think it's called cellulite - .....
decided to give it some sun earlier but even that took fright!!!! Have set self target of 10 mins on exercise bike for each England goal.... not expecting any noticeable change any time soon......)
Chin up hun, you've not slipped off the wagon, just hung over the side for a bit. You've got to have a life else you will give uip altogether.
xA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Take heart, Ali. Global warming should soon reduce things for you! :rotfl::eek: What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160 -

Lovely to see you back LookingAhead. I was only thinking about you the other day and wondering where you were. Sorry to hear you are feeling down. Don't worry too much if you have gone off track a bit, at least your debt is lower than it was. It must be a common problem at the moment, I think it is the time of year as it makes you want to spend money. I know I have been feeling like that, I was fine for the first few months, but June has been a bad month. Roll on July.
Keep going and I look forward to you posting again.

Its good to see you posting LookingAhead but I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling too good at the moment. It seems to me that your spending situation is not really out of control at all, perhaps it just feels like it to you. Perhaps concentrate on making yourself feel a bit better and the spending will sort itself, usually does for me.
It sounds like you're feeling miserable and negative about everything which is totally natural and is all part of life (unfortunately). Thing is to remember that its just a phase and things will seem better soon. Don't beat yourself up for feeling negative or having bad moments either, nasty spiral to get into!
Keep reading and posting here and your motivation will return in no time, works for me!
Big (((hugs))) dear, keep at it x

Wow, I didn't expect so many responses!
Thank you so much everyone for taking some time to buck me up. I really appreciate it.
MinnieSpender as ever, always manages to make me laugh (re: global warming)!
Spud: just to lower your blood pressure a bit...the £30 is for three products not just one bottle of conditioner. Even I wouldn't go that mad!
PeachPickle & Jessica: I don't use the Frizz-Ease stuff but may try out the Dream Curls stuff at some point as I read about it last night and so many ladies were raving about it. So thanks for reinforcing that for me.
Moneymaker: I am sorry to hear about your alopecia and I am sorry if my mentioning my frizzy hair seemed selfish and narrow minded at all. Usually I am very good at keeping things in perspective and remembering that, in the grand scheme of things, I am lucky. I think today it's escaped me. And thanks for the compliments about my English & spelling (LA is now paranoid about any grammatical & spelling errors....
)
sarat: Wow, really? I am a fave? <Blush> Heck! Thanks hon. <More blushes>
OK I realise this is turning into an Oscar thanking session so I will wind it up by saying thanks everyone for cheering me up and you are right this will pass and I will get back on board very soon.
Ali....good luck with the exercise bike! Maybe you can get a map of the Antarctic pinned on the wall for inspiration? I may get one of Brazil next to a picture of an a**e! :rotfl:
Hey kathfisch :hello: thanks for your post & good to see you again too.
OK enough indulgencies, I am off for a celebratory (of England winning 1 -0 ) HM cheap lemon & potato casserole!
Be back on soon I hope. Oh...the walk was great by the way and I only spent £2.40.

Glad to hear much more positivity LA!!
There are always people here to listen, encourage, give hugs (and the occasional kick up the bum!), you know that!
Enjoy your celebrations
