NTL Broadband and Sipgate

Please can someone assist me with what I need to do to if I wanted to get sipgate working with my ntl broadband. I have a separate modem for broadband and its the ntl 250 model.

1. Is the ntl 250 modem compatable with sipgate
2. If so do I need a voip adapter
3. If I need the voip adapter whats compatable and good value for money.
4. If the 250 model is not compatable Can I use my spare belkin wireless G router model F5D7633-4
5. If I need to use the belkin router is this compatble with NTL broadband and if so how would I configure it.

Sorry if these questions have already been answered, I have tried the search function but got overwhelmed
