Is anyone actually using the Comodo Firewall Software?
Would you recommend it, is it any good?
Cheers.

I'm personally not using it but it often gets decent enough reviews. Also, which Operating System? The in-built firewall that comes with Windows 7 is actually very decent - better than it was in XP :cool:0

Comodo firewall is VERY good. Id use it myself but it prevents my printer from working properly (only my model which is obsolete now):idea:0

I'm using Online armour (free) which I am really happy with, and am considering moving to the paid for version.
I was going to try Comodo, as it had good reviews, but I am happy with mine. The best thing is to try it and see. It is supposed to be good.0 -
This site points out whats good and whats bad ~

do you actually need a firewall if you have one on your router and windows firewall enabled?
I was under the impression it wasnt really needed and another firewall just hogs resources and is intrusive?0 -

I have an firewall on my router and comodo stopped and blocks some malware script embedded in a website. So without it I would have had a trojan and decompression bomb infection,
So worth having it there.
I used comodo to replace Zonealarm that was causing severe internet problems where browsers wouldnt load pages and never closed in task manager making restart take 10 mins +Survey earnings total 2009 £417, 2010 £875, 2011 £5740 -
I found it quite resource hungry, I noticed my computer loaded XP much faster after I'd removed Comodo (which is another matter, Comodo has 'issues' with it's uninstall, once it's there, it's hard to remove).0

I use commodo have done now for a few years. I did find it very sensitive at first, after a few tweaks it works quite happily and as far as I know is doing a good job, i.e nice clean pc:D
So commodo gets the thumbs up from me;)0 -
I use it too it is sensitive can be a pain at times installing applications/games etc but I got use to it and hasnt let me down0
