Need Some Inspiration for Bedroom Storage

Hi
I've been meaning to decorate our bedroom this year; I've been saying that every year since we moved here but I'm determined to do it in 2010.

Currently we have stand alone wardrobe x 2 with top box, there's two chests of drawers and two bedside drawers. The furniture is pine and it has gone a horrid orangey colour so I want to replace it but I want something that gives us more storage space.

I'm lacking inspiration on what to buy so would welcome some ideas.

Thanks

built in wardrobes, bigger chests of drawers, underbed storage...

or make your new years resolution to get rid of stuff then you won't need so much storage space ;-)

I would suggest car boot sales! we did a few last year and made some cash while getting rid of junk.

As for new wardrobes look on gumtree and e-bay. We were lucky and got some cheap stuff from the range when they were selling ex mfi stock. I was amazed how expensive wardrobes are.

We have a metal bed frame and it has a good gap under the bed and have got plastic storage boxes under. We can fit 6 each side.
