Does no-one else just buy what they need?
Yes, I do !!!
I use minimum products and buy them when on offer, together with any extra points vouchers available. If I cannot use a voucher then I leave it near the products in the hopes that someone else might use it. Always the case with the £2 vouchers off hair care.:D
When I first joined MSE there were several products around £5 (I get the over 60's discount too ) and the Time delay Hand cream was included, this didn't suit me but kept my daughter in Hand Cream for ages. I have also now got 4 eye pencil sharpeners (thinking that I could use them for ordinary pencils, but the aren't suitable.) So I don't need any more.
Maybe some posters have a large circle of female friends and relatives.0 -
I don't buy birthday or xmas pressies for the adult females in my family - but I buy N07 accessories with the snowys because they are brill for making up very impressive pamper packs for my DDs teachers
.
The NO7 handbag mirrors with pouch, and the eyelash curlers especially, together with the NO7 4-in-one wipes and a N07 nail colour, always go down a treat. These are all between £1 and £1.50 with a snowy.
When the Bourjois £2 voucher comes out, I stock up on their pink nail files and tweezers, for the same reason - they are really funky and look great in pamper packs.0 -
What can you buy with a Snowy/Bluey/Pinkie/Rosey/Binnie/Bluey Two-ey etc? Well as lots of you know, I like to buy loads of No 7 Accessories, and nail varnish, cuticle cream, base coat etc with mine, and use them for gifts when visiting poorly friends at home, or in hospital.
I'm fortunate enough to live near lots of stores with SS tills and I womble for England! :j I have huge carrier bags, full of these No 7 items, that have cost me very little, and then when someone is poorly, I can put several in a gift bag, together with some toiletries that I've bought on offer, and they make lovely cheer-up presents, without costing a fortune.
Buying these toiletries on offer is also a great way of getting yet another £5 voucher, and so is topping up your mobile, and we've had some great lists from lots of you on here about other things you can buy.
It also means that I can produce, with a flourish, some welcome raffle prizes for Church Bazaars, Grandchildren's School Fetes, etc, and I'm never stuck for an unexpected birthday present. :T
Please please please don't give the mods ammunition for closing yet another Boots thread! Since the last shenanigans, I am trying to adopt the maxim "Never Complain, Never Explain", no matter what anyone posts, but if someone has a problem about someone else, be it me, or anyone, surely it's better to PM them about it?

I bought a No7 mascara the other day and a customer before me had left their voucher at the till. KNowing I was going to pick up another pack of face wipes, I took the voucher and used it as part of the mascara payment. :j£9500/£10000 baby fund saved so far0 -

Teaspoon there is no reason to lurk as the majority of Bootsters are a very helpful bunch, full of team spirit they are.
I can see why you have written what you have and i am sure Sandra Scarlet will have taken on board your comments.
i tend to go round willynilly thanking almost all the posts on the Boots threads when i post. i don't post that often, but we are none of us the same are we and there is nothing wrong in speaking up for the underdog. i myself have done so many a time.
But i can't for the life of me see why any forum member would want to pm other members about SS thanks or post count or anyone elses, including mine. Thanks Anthea.
Thank you, I will try to post more and lurk less xx0 -
