does anyone else get a frisson of excitement when they've seen sandra scarlet post in the boots thread? :j

I am a regular lurker on the Boots threads and I do think that SandraScarlett's posts are very amusing and helpful. I used to thank her quite a lot, but I eventually stopped, because I noticed that she doesn't thank others, even when their posts are very helpful! And I am at a loss to understand why. Sorry, but I do think that it's important to thank as well as be thanked.

So, although I enjoy her posts, I don't value them any more highly than the rest. I think all you Bootsers are fab and some of your tips, glitches and stories are just as good as Sandra's if not better! You have all saved me a fortune and for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I dont think its necessary to pick on someone...(have you gone through every post to see who thanked who!!!) . you have admitted yourself you are a lurker and bet you havent thanked every post whos tips you have used. A lot of people enjoy SSs posts and she obviously puts a lot of time and effort into them. In future i think you should keep personal comments out of your posts and keep to the topic.
 Am thinking of a new one:beer:

It can be aimed at anyone who singles people out(in a not nice way) ..this was the first one i came across(reading backwards)...there is no need for it .No wonder a lot of threads are closed down.

I dont actually think it was aimed in 'not a nice way' though:o, I think they were just pointing out that everyone's input on these threads is equally as valuable as SS's - therefore we shouldnt single out one particular poster as it is more than one single person that makes these threads so valuable.
( I LOVE SS BTW, but have to say I agree with the OP)

This is exactly the way I meant it. I really do value the input of all Bootsers - not meaning to single people out, but karenx for example is soooo good at finding glitches and her posts are also very amusing! Bootsing is a success because of all of you. I do thank people as often as I can, but can't always sign in as I sometimes only get about 3 mins to look at MSE my life is so hectic atm. Sorry.

I don't go around checking who has thanked who, promise! But I have noticed that SS does not tend to thank her fellow Bootsers. Just my own observation. :o

    Anyway, thanks nikinackyloo.
