B&Q kitchen sale - about to get better?

Are there any B&Q workies out there? If so, do you know if the kitchen sale is about to include worktops or accessories. It's only limited to units and doors just now, but I am getting asked by OHs customers. Would be good to know, ta.

20, 40 & 50% off kitchen door and drawer fronts, 20% off selected worktops, 15% off selected (most to be honest) sinks and 15% off selected taps. 15% off Samsung side by side fridge freezers and 15% off all Smeg appliances.

Additionally till the 4th Jan, theres 15% off your overall transaction if you spend more than £500.

Have just received a quote from B&Q for an IT kitchen. I would like to know if the deal is going to get any better after 4th January.

The deal wont be changing as far as i'm aware Chris. The extension of the 15% (til 4th) is about it and you've probably been quoted that anyway.

Dont know if this makes a difference but I got quote from b&q 4K for kitchen in cooke and lewis (with all discounts) plus extra 1k for fitting. Took it to an idependent and for 4K Im getting a bosch induction hob and hood thrown in plus fitting so saving a grand. Def worth a quick shop around. I just mailed a couple of independents my specs.

I got the IT brochure a few months back. 30mm base unit door, priced at £9.

Looked at the 'sale' online as it now had 40% off. Sale price was £11.40!!

Basically they put the price upto £19, knocked 40% off, so you were paying more in the sale than the original price. Bit of a con IMO...

B&Q sale prices are just made up, with imaginary discounts which sale advisors will say are only valid for you/them/that day/ until it rains or some other nonesense. Go to an independent supplier and get an honest price.
