horse riding clothing for 8 year old

My daughter is having lessons and enjoying, so time to look for jodhpurs, chaps, boots and jacket etc, shes 7 years old

Can anyone point me to any good sites please. I found equestrian clearance.com but postage a bit steep.

The instructor said about getting her winter jodhpurs (they looked fluffy on another girl)

Some Tesco shops sell Horsey bits not quite sure as its been a good 20 odd years since i went horse riding, maybe worth checking the web site or your local tesco

    Hi,

Big Tesco store near us (Kingston Park, Newcastle) sells a mix of riding gear at a decent price. Niece got some items there. Don't know if they show on their website though.
Worth a look if you've one near you. They had jodhpurs, boots, tops, and jackets.
Loads of grooming gear too. Bought one of the brushes to use on the dog!

    Hth

Ha! Took too long to type again! ENID71's beat me to it.
    Mirror, mirror, on the wall.

    Spotted these yesterday

    http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.100-0159.aspx

And they have an offer on at the moment, Buy Childs Riding Hat, Jodphurs and Boots for only £40, It never took the discount off for me at the check out, so had to phone them. As they couldn't get the discount to come off (some problem with there system) They said the only way to put it through for me was to charge the my card full price then refund the saving back to me, They refunded me the wrong amount so ended up getting the postage for free as well ;)

If she is just having lessons, why don't you try eBay?
Horsatack are a good valued tack shop too, but it depends on your location, as there are only two stores in the UK at present

Also a tip, just buy normal Jodphurs and if she has a lesson on a cold day, get her to put tights on!! ;) As a fellow horse rider, I can recommend it!!

If I was 8 I know which ones I'd want eBay

As someone said Tesco do some clothing and bits, I bought my daughters riding hat from ebay, brand new at a fraction of the cost. As for riding boots her feet are so wide I have probs getting boots wide enough so shes usually in wellies bless her.

Some riding schools have pre-loved kit for sale, that's been grown out of. It would be worth making enquiries.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)
