Car Tax question......
I received my reminder last month, but have spent the last few weeks trying to find my insurance docs..... I now have a new insurance document (the old insurance expired yesterday) can I take the new doc to the post office (along with the Mot etc.) and ask for a tax disc to cover from 1st June, with an insurance doc dated 24th June?......
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

Yes as a tax disc will start from the 1st of the month anyway, unless it is a continuation of the existing disc from the end of the month, if applied for less than 15 days before expiry of existing disc, do it quickly before the end of the month or you may get an automatic fine for not taxing or declaring SORN,Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0

Just take the old insurance doc aswell, problem solved.
And make sure you get it done tomorrow - NO EXCUSES0
