Guitar Hero

I had Guitar Hero 3, and the coloured buttons on the guitar stopped working half of the time.

Thinking this was just a one off, I bought Guitar Hero 5 with the new guitar in September. The first one I had wouldn't sync with my Xbox.

I took it back to the shop and the one they replaced it with worked fine for a couple of months, but now the strum bar won't strum down 99% of the time. You then find out that the makers only give you a three month warranty.

I don't care how fun it is, I will not waste £60+ on anything from the Guitar Hero franchise again!

I'd go back to the shop again. They're supplying you with goods of unsatisfactory quality if they are only lasting a few months.

Also a warranty can be "trumped" by the Sales of Goods Act in that the goods should be fit for purpose and functional for a reasonable amount of time and 3 months may well not be enough.

(Unless you are on it 20hrs a day for that period!!)
