Hi Guys
We are looking to buy a laptop. Could anyone recommend a good one? The max we are looking to spend is £500.
Also, is it easy to have a printer connected to it? We just want it for browsing the net, excel and word also.
Thanks alot.:o

I'd go for this one (currys.co.uk/martprd/product/656598) "HP G61-110sa 15.6" widescreen laptop" for £399.00 which is very good. Comes with Windows 7 too!0 -
Sony, Asus and Samsung are good. (or the Apple to be sure to keep them at bay)
Printer is very easy to attach, just remember to buy a printer cable, about £2 - £5 should do, (get one in to sweeten the deal) Even wireless connection are possible!0 -

After I bought this SONY laptop, which I like, I was very impressed with the one my SIL bought as it had white keys. It's a Toshiba.0

Best to go in to (dare I say) PC world, comet, dixons etc. Find the laptop IYO that has the nicest feeling keyboard and screen as it seems you'll be doing a lot of typing on it. As long as specs include a core 2 duo of some flavour, decent sized HD and at least 3 or 4gb of ram, you won't go wrong.
Then make note of model/make and look on internet (as ask here) for best price.0
