Possible to track an address via a card purchase?

Ok so I misplaced by debit card and someone was awesome enough to spend some of my money with it. Not a lot, I cancelled it as soon as I realised it was gone. I was wondering if it's possible for example that the bank can track the address that a purchase was shipped to (if they ordered something online) to the person who used the card, and what can happen to the person who used it instead of rightfully handing it in.

Thanks :)

Yes it's possible to trace, although usually the crooks will be one step ahead of the authorities.

They could go to prison for theft. More likely they'll be rewarded with 168 hours community service on a beach in the Maldives knowing our criminal justice system.
