Sainsburys 40" Samsung LCD 5 Series £499

It was £429 in Dixons a couple fo days ago as I was eyeing one out for MIL went to order and it jumped up to £499

It was on hotukdeal for 429

Guys, can you put me straight on this, if i went into John Lewis, with the a copy of the email that richer sounds sent me (£400) for the lcd 40 inch samsung), would they price match it, thanks guys

What i've been reading on another site is PC WORLD and Currys where selling this for £429, and people where walking into JL to get a price match, also benifiting from the 5 Year warranty they are giving free.

I'm planning to do this too with Richer Sounds, But just printed there price from the website to take in, and made a not of there store contact number for them to call.

My problem is getting it to my house because its too bloody big and free delivery will take to long, as i want to play now... lol

I'm not sure they would honour the price match now, since that price was only available in store and I'm pretty sure their stock is all gone now

I called one today and he said they still had one left, but it was reserved. I'm hoping either they dont bother calling the store and acept my print out of there website which says instore offer only, or if they do call the guy doesnt say its reserved lol.

However he did say they are expecting more stock Thursday. Best bet is call a few stores, closes to you. and then look at them getting price matched if they have any.

No harm in trying tho

I still cant link yet but if you type the following in google

le40b530 richer sounds

then click on the "cached link", i edited the webpage and removed the £440 offer incase they price match me to that with it have the 5 year warranty lol..
