How do Ful and Finals affect credit rating..?

Just out of interest can anyone advise on how a full and final settlement offer affects credit rating -(if accepted by the CC company)...also how its recorded on a credit file.

    it will show on your report that you were unable to meet your exisiting comitments and so others pay try to avoid

    If your credit rating was good, then that would indicate that you were still meeting your contractual payments on your borrowing.

    If you were still making your contractual payments, then why would the creditor consider a full & final deal?

    In practice f&f deals are for those whose credit ratings are already trashed...
