plumbing question?

Options
Hello all. I am installing a washhand basin in our downstairs toilet (long overdue!) The only (easy) way to get rid of the waste water would be to feed it into the the back of the toilet. Is there a special joiner to link the waste pipe to the back of the toilet. I have tried the screfix website, with no luck - it might help though if i knew what the joiner was called. hope someone can point me in the right direction.

Many thanks, Neil

This will only fit on a plain straight pipe not a bend.

If your soil pipe goes out via the wall use one of these:

or if its through the floor then one of these:

Go to your plumbers merchant for one (ask for a pan connector with a compression boss) - unlikely to get one in the sheds.

You MUST fit an anti-vac trap in your basin BTW or the WC flushing will syphon all the water out of the basin trap and you'll get nasty niffs!

I used one of these buried just under the floor. But keystone's suggestion is a lot neater. I do not think that they were available when I did the job in 1992
I can afford anything that I want.
