So Mr Merlin, What exactly DO YOU DO for people??

    http://willowsfinance.co.uk/?p=terms-and-conditions
This Website is an independent marketing website and not a lender
We pass on enquiries to financial service providers and cannot offer financial advice.

An enquiry from this Website does not constitute an offer to provide a loan.
This independently owned website acts solely as advertising and marketing vehicle for third party financial services

So you don't actually do ANYTHING then except pass on details to lenders which we can all find with a simple Google (or does your magic stretch to finding companies offering low apr loans to high risk customers??)

    http://willowsfinance.co.uk/?p=legal-privacy
Sometimes we’ll share your information with carefully selected third parties outside Willows Finance Ltd

    What do you mean SOMETIMES??

You said earlier you WILL pass on details because you don't even have any money to lend... HOW ELSE ARE YOU GOING TO HELP PEOPLE GET A LOAN if you don't farm their details out to every lender this very Forum warns people NOT TO USE??

Rates and fees correct as of 24.09.10.

What FEES?? You said their weren't any!!!

Sound like a bunch of clowns to me, not magicians.

You make me chuckle into my breakfast....what a farce

You sign up to shamelessly plug one scratty company and then get on your high horse because I figured you out

You're not bright enough to actually own the company so I assume you must be hoping for some PMs to make some money to support yourself in that bedsit?

Mr Merlin...I see no magic here but I do get a distinct whiff of fish.

Well for a start its not about what 'I' do for customers as I am not this company.

And if it is so simple for customers to find a an appropriate lender first time from a Google search why do thousands of people every day apply to loan brokers?

No half decent broker would advertise low apr's to high risk customers so not sure where you plucked this from. Customers with less good credit and certain financial circumstances know they are not going to get offered rates as low as high street lenders can offer to people with better credit. It is about having credit available to them at a rate that still makes it affordable or improves their current financial position.

No, I said this broker in particular didn't charge fees upfront before looking for loan solutions for customers. Just as many brokers in this area of finance do, brokers fees on completion etc may be applicable but this was not the original question if you spent the time to read it properly.

Obviously this company like many many others are brokers and not lenders. You car insurance broker doesn't underwrite your insurance so why should this be any different? And therefore customer details need to be passed from brokers to an appropriate lender where their criteria fits the lenders. How else would this work. And quote me if I am wrong but don't certain lenders have loan products that are only available through brokers and not direct? (Please check before answering with a guess.)

Figured me out? It's not about me but about putting solutions on the table for consumers in this area who are ACTIVELY looking for a financial solution of which they will fit criteria.

I don't want any PMs as this isn't about people making money or commission. It is about (and what this whole discussion should have been about) and that is there are thousands of customers looking for an appropriate answer to their financial needs. NONE of your comments have added any insight to help these people find solutions so why not turn the emphasis to this!

Sorry if I was wrong, but I thought this was a financial forum, not a playschool. Did someone steal your conker? Over and out.

If I understood you wrong then my apologies, if you did sign up to plug these sharks then my comments stand.

Still, you can see why....day after day we get threads about iffy loan companies, brokers and sub-prime shizzle, they pray on the vulnerable and finacially desperate while they drive sports cars. Then "Willow Finance" ahem turn up, and you're on here plugging them to the highest, just seemed dodgy to me and I guess a few others.

I agree, there is a place for these companies, I just wish there wasn't.

Indeed a good question. Perhaps you should spend a little while on here reading other posts instead of plugging your company/employers.

Brokers tell these high risk customers they are the answer to all their prayers. You HAVE been Accepted, you WILL get your loan etc etc...

Based on the info on this forum alone, any loan offered seldom meets the request, at a rate only a madman would accept.

Guarantors, secured loans offered in place of the unsecured loan originally requested.
Multiple calls from the (to coin a phrase) bottom feeders hounding and hounding many times a day.

The calls are not limited to bad risk lenders, but DMP Fee paying companies, Debt Write off scammers.... the list goes on.

As a bystander, I don't recall ever seeing a post where someone has used a company such as yours and had a successful outcome.

No doubt you can come up with a raft of Testimonials, Mr H. from Cheswick says: It's brilliant, Mrs J from Truro says: You've saved my life and the other tired old formula your type of company uses.

Like your website states, you are just a marketing tool. Your sole purpose is to splash the details of these applicants out to as many lenders as possible.

For you to deny any connection with this company quite simply makes you look a tool.
